Encompass Appoints Appliance Repair Industry Expert to Newly-Created Chief Strategist Role

Joe Wang joins company after stints with Best Buy, ServicePower, Sears

In this role, Wang will be primarily responsible for maximizing Encompass’ overall customer experience and capitalizing on emerging technologies to help the company meet its aggressive growth objectives. For the past few consecutive years, Encompass has achieved record sales volume and is on pace to continue this trajectory in 2022. Beyond organic growth, Encompass is also integrating with Dayton Appliance Parts, which further highlighted the need for a new strategic leader.

Wang has more than 25 years of experience in post-sales product support. Just prior to Encompass, he served as president of In-Home Services for Sears Home Services, the nation’s largest product repair service provider for major appliances and HVAC.

Wang also was chief customer and strategy officer for ServicePower, where he helped grow the field service software company to be the most widely adopted SaaS platform in the major appliances industry in North America and Europe.  Previous to ServicePower, he helped turn around Best Buy’s Geek Squad Repair Services group and launched its secondary markets operations. At the start of his career, Wang worked at major Ford auto dealerships in Detroit and Northern California overseeing parts and service.

Former Longtime Rent-A-Center Service Executive Joins Encompass

Bobby Pope to lead depot repair, reverse logistics for company

Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, a division of Parts Town and leading provider of replacement parts and supply chain services for a diverse range of product brands, today announced Bobby Pope has been appointed vice president of its Service Solutions business.

In this role, Pope will develop and execute strategic initiatives to help further expand Encompass’ on-site repair and reverse logistics group. Encompass is one of the only home parts suppliers in the U.S. that also maintains a service operation primarily for component-level circuit board repair exclusively for contracted manufacturers.

Pope has more than 30 years of experience managing repair operations. Just before joining Encompass full time, he consulted for the company’s Service Solutions operation to review various procedures. His objective was to help improve productivity and workflow efficiencies, which resulted in changes that enhanced overall performance and increased revenue across the group.

Prior to Encompass, Pope served as vice president of Product Service for Rent-A-Center’s former National Product Service division. During his tenure, Pope was responsible for 22 product service centers and 550 staff members across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The centers repaired electronics, appliances, computers, phones and furniture for 2,400 Rent-A-Center retail stores, averaging 850,000 repairs annually.

Encompass Appointed Authorized Spare Parts Distributor for Fisher & Paykel Appliances and DCS Grills

Encompass Appointed Authorized Distributor of Bosch Home Appliance Parts

Encompass Expedites Service to Midwest with New Ohio Parts Distribution Center

Supplier also adds training centers to Ohio and Las Vegas facilities

Lawrenceville, Ga., March 9, 2022 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of replacement parts and supply chain services for a diverse range of product brands, today announced it has opened a fifth parts distribution facility to enhance coverage in the Midwestern U.S.

The new 50,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center is located in West Chester, Ohio – just outside

Cincinnati – and augments Encompass’ existing distribution centers in Georgia, Florida, Nevada and New York. The operation enables Encompass to expand next-day parts delivery in the Midwest, which is especially critical for the company’s appliance and HVAC repair customers. Components used in the repair of kitchen, laundry and heating and cooling appliances are among Encompass’ top-selling offerings and are key factors driving the company’s record growth over several consecutive years.

Encompass Expands Parts Support for Lasko to BlueDri®, B-Air® Brands

Support includes components for water restoration equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers and more

Lawrenceville, Ga., December 9, 2021 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of replacement parts and supply chain services for a diverse range of product brands, today announced it is expanding existing parts support of Lasko Products to include two other portfolio brands.

Encompass is now managing parts supply for Lasko brands BlueDri and B-Air. The deal comes one year after Encompass was tapped to provide parts support for Lasko – a top name in home air heating, cooling and purifying products.

Encompass has implemented comprehensive parts programs for BlueDri’s line of quality air movers, air scrubbers and commercial dehumidifiers, as well as B-Air’s professional janitorial, inflatable, pet drying and restoration equipment. In addition to order fulfillment, Encompass provides parts planning, procurement, inventory management, end user support and more. BlueDri customers primarily comprise water damage restoration professionals and distributors, while B-Air serves both businesses and consumers.

To simplify and streamline online parts research and ordering, Encompass has launched ecommerce portals for both brands: bluedri.encompass.com and b-air.encompass.com.  Parts will be warehoused and distributed through Encompass facilities in Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio and New York.

Encompass Now Exclusive Parts Supplier for Maxell-Branded Projectors in United States, Canada, and Latin America

Encompass to Manage Parts Supply for Liebherr Home Appliances

Deal includes support for high-end household refrigeration and freezer products

Lawrenceville, Ga., August 4, 2021 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of replacement parts and supply chain services for a diverse range of product brands, today announced it has finalized a three-year agreement to provide repair parts support for residential and commercial refrigerators and freezers from Liebherr, a German manufacturer of a wide variety of products.

Under the deal, Encompass will manage the parts supply chain for Liebherr’s home refrigeration line, which includes a portfolio of freestanding, fully-integrated, column and undercounter units for refrigeration, freezing and wine preservation.

End-to-end Encompass services include parts forecasting, procurement, warehousing, distribution and call center support. The Liebherr program will be managed through Encompass’ Georgia, Florida, Nevada and New York facilities to expedite delivery throughout the U.S.

Encompass will supply repair parts primarily to Liebherr’s authorized service network, self-servicing retailers and consumer end users. To streamline access to pricing, availability and ordering of Liebherr parts, Encompass has created a custom ecommerce portal.

Hurley said the two companies worked jointly to create metrics that will gauge the program’s success. Encompass will be held to specific performance targets for same day shipments, order turnaround time, call center availability, order accuracy and more.

“We closely monitor team activity, particularly in the warehouse, to provide comprehensive program reporting to our clients, as well as to identify any areas that may need improvement,” said Hurley. “Achieving defined targets is so critical to Encompass that our associates are compensated based on their performance levels.”
