Encompass Selected to be Authorized Parts Distributor for Sony of Canada

Lawrenceville, Ga., December 6, 2011 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics for a diverse range of electronics products and replacement parts, today announced that its division Encompass Parts Distribution, has finalized an agreement with Sony of Canada Ltd. to distribute replacement parts for a range of consumer electronics products.

Under the agreement with Sony, Encompass will distribute parts and accessories to Sony authorized service centers throughout Canada. Encompass will leverage its Canadian distribution facility located outside of Toronto in Mississauga, Ontario, for inventory warehousing and fulfillment.

Encompass currently distributes Sony replacement parts to major retailers and servicers in the U.S. Coolidge said that Encompass’ presence outside the U.S., which also includes a distribution facility in Mexico, enables the company to align its comprehensive supply chain management services with the needs of manufacturers.

Haier Selects Encompass to Provide Comprehensive Parts Logistics Services

Lawrenceville, Ga., September 28, 2011 – Encompass Group Affiliates, Inc. Under the agreement, Encompass will procure, warehouse and distribute replacement parts for Haier’s full line of consumer electronics, appliance and HVAC products in North America. Former Best Buy Service Center Territory Manager Tapped to Lead Encompass Service Solutions Division

Patrick Joseph brings extensive experience in service operations to the company

In his new role, Joseph will be responsible for the overall operations of ESS, which specializes in
extending the value of consumer and high-tech products through board-level and whole-unit
repair, refurbishment and parts reclamation services. ESS additionally provides Level II and
Level III call center technical support, service contract administration and support and ecofriendly disposal of end-of-life products to third-party warranty companies, OEMs and national
retailers.
Prior to joining ESS, Joseph served as the Territory Service General Manager for Best Buy’s
Western Region, comprising Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona.  In that
role he was responsible for all Service Center and In-Home Service operations.  He also led the
opening of the Seattle Service Center for Best Buy, as well as managed product sales and service
support for Best Buy retail stores in the Northwestern United States.  He has served as a leader in
various roles in Best Buy’s service operations since 2000.
Prior to managing Best Buy’s service operations, Patrick was the West Division Director of
Service for Rent-A-Center, providing product service support for 893 stores and 12 service
centers from Chicago to Hawaii.

Encompass Selected to Support Extended Warranty Program Launched by Universal Technical Services

Encompass has finalized an agreement with Universal Technical Services to provide product returns management and asset value recovery services in support of its extended warranty program offering.

Universal Technical Services (UTS) is a leading provider of extended warranties in the fitness industry and a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICON Health & Fitness, one of the largest developers, manufacturers and marketers of fitness equipment in the world.

Under the agreement, Encompass will manage the disposition of defective portable goods returned under UTS extended warranties offered through sporting goods stores across the country. Encompass will test returned items and recover value based on established business practices.

“The Encompass team is excited to be selected by Universal Technical Services to provide warranty return service for their customer base. We have the expertise, infrastructure and operational systems to deliver superior after sales service, and we look forward to supporting UTS in the sporting goods retail market,” said Thomas Sutlive, President and Chief Operating Officer of Encompass Service Solutions.

Encompass will receive and process returns out of its 150,000-square-foot distribution center and service facility in Lawrenceville, Ga., located just north of Atlanta.
