GE TV, Chassis TX81G
Reason for Service:  Dead, no high voltage.
Solution: Check
all and replace as necessary: CF09, DF04, DP18, TP15.
Hitachi TV, 43FWX20B
Reason for Service:  Freezing or any weird eeprom or micro
suspected problem
Solution: Add a
jumper from 1007 pin 1 to cathode of D019.
Hitachi TV, 46UX12B
Reason for Service: Loss
of audio
Solution: Replaced
shorted Q403 and Q404.
Mitsubishi TV, WS-655515
Reason for Service: No
power, LED blinks slow at plug in and does not stop blinking
Solution: Check
pin 3 of PC9A21for 12V; if low or missing, replace PC9A21 on main board.  #268P058020
Philips TV, 32MF605W/17
Reason for Service: Good
picture but no sound
Solution: VCC
for audio processor was missing. Replacing the supply regulator 7006, fixed the
set.  L78L08ACZ
RCA TV, CTC169
Reason for Service:  Vertical loss from top and bottom 3
inches of screen.
Solution:  Replaced 2 caps in vertical
circuit.  0.47uF/100V and 33uF/50v.  Check for bad solder in the same area.
Sanyo TV, DS31590
Reason for Service: 
Dead, fuse blown (lightning?)
Solution:  Replaced the following
parts:  Q601, Q604, Q605, D612 and the 4A
fuse.
Samsung DLP HLR4266WXXAA
Reason for Service: Picture
flickers
Solution: Replacing
the ballast fixed the set.
Samsung LNT4069FX/XAA
Reason for Service:  Picture flashes off and on, (backlight
problem)
Solution: Replace
ICM804 on power/inverter board, BN44-00167C.
Sony TV, KDFE50A10
Reason for Service:  Shutsdown and 6 blinks and relay
clicks.
Solution: Found
a bad cap in the power supply, C6049, 200uF/16V.
Sony LCD,  KDL40V4100
Reason for Service: Pic
too dark and color too rich.

Solution:  T-Con is bad, but before replacing, try
replacing just the AS15-F chip on it.  Do
a Google search to find the chip.

GE TV, Chassis TX81G
Reason for Service: 
Dead, no high voltage
Solution: Check all and
replace as necessary: CF09, DF04, DP18 and TP15.
Hitachi TV, 43FWX20B
Reason for Service: Horz noise in picture when first turned on.
Solution: Wiggle the anode
connector at each CRT to determine if this causes the symptom, if so, replace
that lead.
Panasonic PT-47WX53
Reason for Service: 
No audio
Solution: Check and replace
as necessary: R881, R880 and D2321.
Philips TV, 21PT6446-44, L03.1LAA
Reason for Service:  Vertical
is shrinking down.
Solution: Replaced D6460 SM diode in vertical section, and check or
replace C2444 and C2465.
RCA TV, ATC221
Reason for Service: Convergence not working
Solution: Convergence power
supply not working because FP251 and FP221 were open.  Replacing fixed the set.
RCA TV, ITC222
Reason for Service: Set pulses 3 times then goes into shutdown
Solution: Check the ground
straps on the CRTs.  Make sure they are
not touching anything shorting out.
Sony TV, KPCX35
Reason for Service: 
Bright picture with no contrast
Solution: Found C650 on the
G board open.  100uF/160V.
Sony TV, KV32FS120
Reason for Service: 
Dead, 9 blink error code
Solution: Replacing D647
fixed the set.  #10ERB20, NTE125
Toshiba TV, 34HD82
Reason for Service: Picture was jagged jittery and sometimes more than one
picture side by side.
Solution:  Found many bad caps on the vertical mounted MVPU15 board
assy.  Replacing them fixed the set.
Vizio Plasma, P50HDTV20A
Reason for Service: 
Shuts down

Solution: Replace all the
following in the power supply:  C201,202,203,227,271,272,282
and 283.  Check 261, C275.  Measure voltage in and out of all the
regulators on the main board.  Replace
any found bad.

Hitachi TV, 50V500A
Reason for service:  Negative or reddish picture
Solution: Cleaned
or replaced the connector between flex and drive PCB.
Hitachi TV, 50V500A
Reason for service: Bars
in picture or screen
Solution: Suspect
50 pin connector, #EK01182, polarity or improper connections.
Hitachi TV, 46UX12B
Reason for service:  Intermittently looses channels.
Fix:  Replace defective ZD-008 and C0062.
JVC TV, AF32F703
Reason for service: Shutdown.
Solution: Resoldered
W624 jumper and replaced the following: 
C973, 10uF/50V, D432, and Q431.
Mitsubishi TV, CK-3136R
Reason for service: Dead,
just clicks
Solution:  Replaced all the following:  C901, STR-S5141G, Caps, C914, 470uF/50V,
C916, 10uF/100V, C956, 2.2uF/200V, then discovered the Q532, HOT was
shorted.  Replaced it and a 3.15micro fuse
and the set was fixed.
Panasonic TV, CT-36HX41E
Reason for service:  Intermittent shutdown
Solution: Replaced
R517 and C524.
Panasonic TV, TH42PX75U
Reason for service:  Video is intermittent on all inputs
after set is on for a while.  Audio, OK.
Solution: Clean
and reseat the LVDS cable between the main and control/logic boards.
RCA TV, ITC222
Reason for service:  Set chirps 3 times and shuts down.  No high voltage.
Solution: Flyback
LI008 bad.  If drawing number on fly is
107 56 Xxx, use 259296.  Otherwise use
265409.  Also replace TI-010, 2SC2588 and
DI-012, BYW34V, (244834) 
Sharp TV,  25RT59
Reason for service:  Jagged edges, Christmas tree effect.
Solution: Test
by installing a jumper from the cap at bridge diode output to the cathode of
125V SCR.  Bring set up on a variac.  If the jagged edges go away, replace IC701.   RH-IZ0073CEZZ
Sony TV, KVTS20
Reason for service: Black
screen but sound OK

Solution: Bringing
up screen you could see vertical collapsed. Found and repaired bad connections
on IC501 and the yoke plug.
