Encompass Partners with Hisense to Expand Spare Parts Availability for Electronics and Appliance Products

Lawrenceville, Ga., June 3, 2013 — Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc, a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics for a diverse range of electronics products and replacement parts, today announced it has formed a strategic partnership with Hisense USA — a top brand in electronics and appliances — to enhance service parts support.

Through the partnership, Encompass will help increase visibility and availability of Hisense spare parts for its complete line of products, including televisions, refrigerators, air-conditioners, dehumidifiers, beverage coolers and freezers. Encompass will supply parts for out-of-warranty or extended warranty repairs.

Hisense USA is based in Georgia close to Encompass’ headquarters and primary distribution facility located just outside Atlanta.

11 years of HR experience, Juliet has a true passion for the human resources
function and looks forward to strengthening employee relations, while assuming
responsibility for benefits, hiring, payroll and more. 

Juliet
joins Encompass from Hanwha L&C
Surfaces, an international solid surfaces manufacturer, where she served as
Human Resources Manager. In this role she provided leadership, consultation,
mediation and support to management with respect to recommending, developing,
implementing and executing effective HR policies, programs and practices,
providing managers with critical tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Prior
to Hanwha, she was Human Resources Manager & Staff Accountant for Tech
Force, LLC, an information technology network support company. 
Juliet
earned a Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration/Human Resources from Croydon College in
London, England and is currently pursuing Professional
Human Resources certification.

Encompass Appoints Executive to Aggressively Focus on Expanding Green Choice Parts® Reclaimed Components Program

Lawrenceville, Ga., April 30, 2013 — Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc, a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics for a diverse range of electronics products and replacement parts, today announced it has appointed Jim Scarff to the role of Vice President and General Manager of Green Choice Parts, Encompass’ proprietary reclaimed parts brand.

Encompass President and CEO Robert Coolidge said this appointment is intended to significantly bolster the company’s efforts to further penetrate the growing reclaimed parts market. Reclaimed parts are good working components harvested from products that are beyond economical repair. They are typically used for repair in out-of-warranty or extended warranty repairs and prevent e-waste from ending up in landfills. Green Choice Parts comprises components for consumer electronics, appliance, computer and printer products and are available through Encompass e-commerce websites greenchoiceparts.com and encompassparts.com.

Coolidge said Encompass remains committed to supplying manufacturer original parts, but plans to partner with OEMs to provide a channel to recycle their parts and reduce warranty costs, excess and obsolete inventory and product displacement. Green Choice Parts can offer OEMs a solution to competing parts currently in the market.

“While Encompass has diligently worked to develop our Green Choice Parts offering as a complement to our OEM spare parts business, we recognized the need to devote more laser-focused resources to expand this valuable program,” said Coolidge. “With Jim’s expertise and extensive parts background, he is the ideal candidate to build on the success of this very important strategic initiative.”

Scarff, previously Encompass vice president of Customer Service, is a long-time industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in parts management. In his new position, he will be charged with exploring innovative ways to source and market reclaimed parts throughout the supply chain and across multiple product categories.

Simply text “encompass” plus the part number to “41411”. Example: encompass 240895. (There must be a space between “encompass” and the part number.) Please note that standard text messaging rates apply. The service is a complement to our mobile app and assists those with devices not supported, including BlackBerry. 



Pricing returned will be standard retail pricing unless you provide us the phone number(s) you will be using to access the texting service. Account holders can easily add their phone numbers(s) by visiting the My Account page. Under Accounting Settings, click Account Linked Phone Number(s) and follow the instructions on the page.
