Hisense TV, LTDN46V86US
Reason for Service: Set won’t start, intermittently.
Solution: Found 3 bad caps on the power board, C811, C812 and C814.

LG TV, 42LG50
Reason for Service: Picture was solarized.
Solution: Found and replaced bad U21 on the T-Con Bd. AS15F.

LG TV, 60PV400UB
Reason for Service: Power comes on, but set doesn’t prime.
Solution: Repaired Z-Sus module by replacing a leaky C418 chip cap and three 10ohm resistors R430, R439 and R517.

LG TV, 60PV400
Reason for Service: Set powers on, but no prime.
Solution: Replaced following on Z-Sus module: R439, R517 R430, all 10ohm chip and C418.

RCA LED52B45RQ
Reason for Service: Dead, but red LED blinks once when power button pressed.
Solution: Found bad cap on power supply board, C14, 47uF.

Samsung TV, PN60E530A3FXZA
Reason for Service: Doesn’t prime, no video or picture.
Solution: Replaced ceramic caps with 10uF/63V electrolytics. C5160, C5162 and C5046. 

Sanyo TV, FW65D25T
Reason for Service: No video, audio is okay.
Solution: Replacing FRC board fixed set. 

Vizio TV, XVT3D474SV
Reason for Service: Set will not start. Amber logo, but doesn’t change to white.
Solution: Reflowing the BGA on main board fixed the set. U9

Reason for Service:
No video, B/Ls okay.
Solution: Replacing U507 on main board fixed the set (was running very hot).

LG TV, 42LG50
Reason for Service: Picture solarized.
Solution: Found and replaced bad U21 on T-Con Bd. AS15F.

LG TV, 50PJ350-UB
Reason for Service:
Set starts for a second then shuts off.
Solution: Check/replace R927 & R929, both 22Ω/5W.

Protron TV, PLTV-32CM
Reason for Service
: Audio volume low and distorted.
Solution: Replacing two bad caps on main fixed set. CE6 and CE7, 100uF/16V.

RCA TV, RLDED5078A-D
Reason for Service: No video or OSD.
Solution: Replaced open fuse on T-Con, 3A.

Samsung LN-T2342H
Reason for Service: Dead set.
Solution: Found bad zener in power supply, DZB803.

Sylvania TV, 6432TFY
Reason for Service: Dead set, may chirp.
Solution: Found bad D653; replaced, 18V zener.

Vizio TV, E420VA
Reason for Service: Dead set.
Solution: Replaced small blue cap in power supply, C911, .01uF/1KV and F901, 5A fuse.

Vizio, VW42L
Reason for Service: Backlights strobing and making buzzing noise.
Solution: Replaced C421 in power supply and two 470mF/35V on master and slave inverter boards.

LG TV, 60PK200
Reason for Service: Set powers up then shuts down in a couple of seconds.
Solution: Check R927, R928 & R929 in power supply. All are 10 ohm/5W.

Panasonic TV, TH42PX80U
Reason for Service: 10 blink error as soon as set plugged in. Won’t start.
Solution: Replaced power supply, P Board.

 RCA TV, G36710, (ATC113CB1)
Reason for Service: Top 2/3 of screen was black; bottom 1/3 was okay.
Solution: Replaced the following: Vert IC, DF01 and CF05.

Samsung TV, LN55B650T1F
Reason for Service: No backlight.
Solution: Found C1804 in PS bad, replacing it fixed set.

Samsung TV, LN26B460B2D
Reason for Service: Dead set, but red LED is on.
Solution: Found bad filter cap, C849; replacing it fixed set. 2200uF/16V.

Samsung TV, UN60EH6003
Reason for Service: Video goes to black after set on for few minutes. Audio and BLs okay.
Solution: Found two bad caps on TCon board. C7114 and C7122.

Sony TV, KP53HS30
Reason for Service: Set had no video or OSD, audio okay.
Solution: Replaced B module.

Westinghouse TV, VR5585DFZ
Reason for Service:
Dead set.
Solution: Replaced bad U6 regulator on main board.

Zenith TV, P42W46X
Reason for Service: Weak video and grainy picture. Can be intermittent.
Solution: Replaced 33uF caps near transformer left scan module.

Hitachi TV, 53SDX01B
Reason for Service: When set turns on, screen is black except for OSD.  Channels changing constantly if you can see them.
Solution: Replaced defective DM04 on control board.

LG TV, 47LE5400
Reason for Service: Set won’t start past LG Splash logo. No buttons work.
Solution: Removed large plastic heatsink and then reflowed large IC on main board.

RCA TV, HD50LPW175
Reason for Service: FPD lights up, then blinks five times, and nothing further happens.
Solution: Check all following caps in power supply: C624, C639, C641, C647 and C640.

Samsung TV, LNT3242HX/XAA
Reason for Service: Dead set, has 5V standby.
Solution: Replaced RM801 in power supply.  0.22W/1W

Samsung TV, LN46A550P3F
Reason for Service: Set makes screeching noise then shuts off.
Solution: Replaced C102, SM 47uF/6.3V Blue box cap.

Sony TV, KDL32L504
Reason for Service: Dead set.
Solution: Found bad IC6102 bad; replaced with Sony 670880101.

Viore TV, LC37VF55
Reason for Service: Set had bad picture, almost like solarized.
Solution: Replacing AS15-F on T-Con fixed set.

Emerson TV, LF501EM4
Reason for Service: Dead set, no standby power light.
Solution: Removed the I/R board and found SM C4056 shorted.  Removing bad cap restored normal operation to the set.

Hitachi TV, 57F59A
Reason for Service: Changes colors, snowy picture, loss of one or more colors, all white and shuts down.
Solution: Replace signal board and make sure the firmware is updated. 

LG TV, 47LM6700
Reason for Service: Dead, 3 blink error.
Solution: Replaced a shorted D607.  MUR460

Panasonic TV, TCP42X5
Reason for Service: Dead
Fix: Replaced U203 on backside of Power board.  FAN6755UWMY.

RCA TV, LED46C45RQ
Reason for Service: Set won’t power up.
Solution: Replacing the EEPROM fixed the set.  U16

Samsung TV, PN64E8000GFXZA
Reason for Service: Dead set, fuse blown.
Solution: Repaired power board by replacing QS802 & QS804.  Examine whole board for bad solder and resolder as necessary.

Vizio TV, E390-A1
Reason for Service: LED backlights will not come on.
Solution: Replacing IC U403 fixed the set.

Zenith, 9-1302 module
Reason for Service: Dead, nothing.
Solution: Resoldered jumper next to Elect Cap CX3452.  Fixed set.
