Encompass Partners with Universal Administrators to Provide Comprehensive Reverse Logistics Services Deal includes repair and returns management for array of electronics

Lawrenceville, Ga., January 25, 2012 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics for a diverse range of electronics products and replacement parts, today announced that its division Encompass Service Solutions (ESS) has been selected by Universal Administrators to provide repair and reverse logistics services.

Under the agreement with Universal Administrators, a nationally-recognized innovator in the extended services industry, ESS will perform depot repair for LCD/LED television combo units – 37 inches and below – and laptops. ESS will also provide returns management and asset recovery services for an array of electronics products warranted by Universal Administrators, including MP3 players, digital cameras, fax machines and more.

Encompass Names New Company President, CFO

Lawrenceville, Ga., January 24, 2012 – Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. (ESCS), a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics for a diverse range of electronics products and replacement parts, today announced the appointment of Robert Coolidge as company President and Lanier Bivings as Chief Financial Officer.

Coolidge has more than 20 years of industry experience, beginning with Vance Baldwin, which was founded by his grandfather in 1953 and acquired by Encompass in 2007. Robert helped grow Vance Baldwin from a local electronics parts distributor of $3 million in 1990 to a national distributor providing original parts for consumer electronics, computer, printer and appliance parts with revenues exceeding $50 million in 2007.

Coolidge will also continue in his role as President of the Encompass Parts Distribution Division for which he has been responsible for national sales, vendor relations and IT management and development, as well as integration management.

Bivings is a seasoned financial professional with more than 20 years of experience with a strong background in manufacturing and distribution. Previous to Encompass, he served as CFO for Elite Storage Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer of material handling equipment where he was responsible for development of production metrics and process improvement, inventory management and cost reduction in manufacturing.

Prior to Elite Storage, Bivings was an investment consultant, and also served as CFO for ShowTurf, Inc., a distributor of John Deere golf and turf equipment. Previous to ShowTurf he served as Corporate Accounting Manager and then Global Business Manager for Jabil Circuit. He was also a Senior Accountant for Ernst & Young.

Encompass Launches Green Choice Parts® Website

Encompass Parts Distribution has launched the website GreenChoiceParts.com to market cost-effective, eco-conscious alternatives to OEM replacement parts.

Green Choice Parts are harvested from scrapped consumer electronics products that have become beyond economical repair or have cosmetic damage – primarily flat screen televisions – for use in out-of-warranty or extended warranty repairs. Parts are sourced from major retailers and rent-to-own companies that need an environmentally-responsible way to dispose of unusable products. Available components include printed circuit boards, speaker assemblies, power supply and more from top brands such as LG, Sony, Philips, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic, as well as a large selection of name brand appliance and computer products. Other product categories will be added in the future.

Green Choice Parts cost as much as 25% less than new parts, while providing the same functionality and reliability. Encompass provides a 180-day warranty on Green Choice Parts to help reinforce confidence in the quality of the parts.

“In addition to providing professional servicers with a less costly option to new parts, Green Choice Parts extend the life of consumer electronics by providing a channel for often hard-to-find components and making products repairable that otherwise may not be cost effective,” said Robert Coolidge, President of ESCS and Encompass Parts Distribution, which manages Green Choice Parts. “Manufacturers also benefit from reduced buy outs, better parts availability for their products in the market and improved warranty costs when seeking hard to find parts.”

Encompass Selected to be Authorized Parts Distributor for Sony of Canada

Former Best Buy Service Center Territory Manager Tapped to Lead Encompass Service Solutions Division

Patrick Joseph brings extensive experience in service operations to the company

In his new role, Joseph will be responsible for the overall operations of ESS, which specializes in
extending the value of consumer and high-tech products through board-level and whole-unit
repair, refurbishment and parts reclamation services. ESS additionally provides Level II and
Level III call center technical support, service contract administration and support and ecofriendly disposal of end-of-life products to third-party warranty companies, OEMs and national
retailers.
Prior to joining ESS, Joseph served as the Territory Service General Manager for Best Buy’s
Western Region, comprising Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona.  In that
role he was responsible for all Service Center and In-Home Service operations.  He also led the
opening of the Seattle Service Center for Best Buy, as well as managed product sales and service
support for Best Buy retail stores in the Northwestern United States.  He has served as a leader in
various roles in Best Buy’s service operations since 2000.
Prior to managing Best Buy’s service operations, Patrick was the West Division Director of
Service for Rent-A-Center, providing product service support for 893 stores and 12 service
centers from Chicago to Hawaii.
